Gotham Builders, which has become known for its general contracting work in the five boroughs of New York City, is opening its first state-of-the-art satellite office building in Freeport – just outside of Merrick.

In situations like this, companies often use flyer printing to let those in the area become aware of their services; in this case, specializing in helping those residents on Long Island who suffered great damage to their homes in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.

The company has renovated the Buccaneer Crab House, a two-story building on Merrick Road, for its office. The main office of Gotham Builders is in Bayside, Queens, which is where the business got started 35 years ago. It is owned and operated by the Perrotta family.

The specialties of Gotham Builders exist in remodeling and renovation projects for the home, including replacement windows, installation and repair of vinyl siding, the remodeling of bathrooms and kitchens, roofing, extensions, dormers, and basements. The company is also able to handle new construction needs such as room additions and expansion of the home, with the ability to take on any size project. They are licensed in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, Westchester, and New York City. Having the new office in Freeport will enable the company to better serve and manage the needs of its clients on Long Island.
