21st Annual Merrick Street Fair Scheduled for September 2012

merrick, home to the Annual Merrick Street Fair, has scheduled the annual event for September 8 and 9 this year from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm. The street fair starts at Sunrise Highway and Merrick Avenue and the area will be bustling with vendors and family-friendly activities.
The Annual Merrick Street Fair is touted as one of Long Island’s largest and best events of its type. Nassau County vendors, consisting of artists and craft experts, line the street with their handmade treasures and discounted gift items. Charity and non-profit organizations will also participate in this street fair, displaying their individual contributions and efforts to the community.
Print companies will handle printing services for the Merrick Street Fair organizers and participating entities such as banner, catalog and flyer printing. The printing companies will also be called upon to provide business card printing services and brochures for many of the vendors and attendees.
The Merrick Street Fair currently has vendor spots open and is taking applications up until September 7, 2012. There are a total of 40 spaces on Merrick Street, each of which are 10′ x 10′, and approximately 135 spaces in the adjacent parking lot.
Food vendors will be present throughout the two-day fair, along with activities for children. As the fair is valued as a family-friendly event, it maintains high standards to ensure everyone has fun and feels comfortable.
