Senior citizens to live it up at September event

August 26, 2012 by

Sixty is the new fifty this year at the Long Island Over 50 Fair, being held in Melville, New York.

The event is expected to host many different kinds of activities for both senior citizens and whole families alike as the fair aims to teach attendees about health and wellness, lifestyle choices, travel, finances and more. If previous years are anything to go by, businesses will be abundant this year at the fair, which will probably be a crucial time for printing companies to service both local and long distance businesses with business card printing services.

During the Long Island Over 50 Fair, one can expect to see a multitude of attendees participating in yoga classes, seminars and classes for life planning, financing, health, yoga, and how to cope with and relieve stress. Guest appearances by a variety of award-winning beauty queens will be welcomed amongst those in attendance at the fair. A full-service restaurant will be on hand to serve sandwiches, burgers, and salads on the premises for those hungry participants of the fair during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Participating vendors and exhibitors include Herbalife, Patriot Mobility Inc., American Airpower Museum, and many more.

The Long Island Over 50 Fair is scheduled to take place on September 30 at the Melville Marriot. Ticket prices range from $6 for advance tickets, or $8 at the door, and entry is free for U.S. Veterans. For more information, please visit the Long Island Over 50 fair homepage.
