Next “Business Breakfast Series” taking place February 14th

The Melville Chamber of Commerce will be doing it again February 14th with the latest edition of its “Business Breakfast Series”.
With the 2008 recession and its aftermath still fresh in people’s minds, the Melville Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a timely workshop called “Show Me The Money”. According to the chamber website, the emphasis is going to be on helping small businesses find ways to finance themselves in spite of what’s going on with the economy.
From the perspective of an attendee, there’s no questioning the credentials of the panel. Featuring Roslyn D. Goldmacher, President of Long Island Development Corp., Michael D. Ogus of Community National Bank, and Neil Seiden, President of Asset Enhancement Solutions, there’s a lot of experience and insight to be shared by these three accomplished individuals. With areas of expertise that range from alternative financing methods to finding favorable loans, this panel will have multiple perspectives to choose from.
Expected to begin at 8:00 am and conclude at 10:00 am, there’s no question that this meeting was planned with the needs of businesspeople in mind.
Another point worth mentioning is how event sponsors have benefited from getting involved. Since the T. Weiss Realty Corp. is providing a location, the Gemini Deli is supplying the food, and the Long Island Development Corporation is cosponsoring, their digital business cards are quite prominent with respect to this breakfast.
Members can attend free while non-members are being charged $30.00. With limited seating, however, local professionals will have to reserve their spots soon.
