Melville firm announces new additions to lineup of cameras

Nikon Inc., headquartered in Melville, announced last week that five new Coolpix cameras, headlined by the Coolpix L830 which has a 34X zoom lens and the latest imaging technology, have been introduced to its portfolio. The company is most likely turning to a variety of printing services to make its customers and potential customers aware of these new cameras, which may also turn heads among print company workers themselves.

In addition to the L830, Nikon has introduced the Coolpix L30, S3600, S5300, and S6800, all of which are compact cameras designed to be easy to use while creating sharp and vibrant images. These cameras will be priced between $100 and $200 and will be available in February 2014.

According to Director of Marketing and Planning at Nikon, Masahiro Horie, these new cameras are an exciting addition to the lineup of Coolpix cameras and will enable both novice and professional photographers to meet all their photography needs.

Some of the features of the Coolpix L830 include a Smart Portrait System and Easy Auto Mode. There are a range of scene modes and the ability to use some special effects to create either portrait or landscape images. A 3.0-inch Tilt-LCD monitor in high resolution helps the photographer to put together photos from different angles and get the desired result.

Menu buttons that are strategically placed on the camera contribute to its user-friendliness. The camera also runs on AA-size batteries, meaning that recharging with a special device is not required.
