Long Island Career Fairs scheduled in Melville

Job seekers will have a chance to meet one-on-one with prospective employers with job openings at the Long Island Career Fair, May 16th, at the Melville Marriott, Long Island, located on Old Walt Whitman Road. The job fair opens at 11:00 am and closes at 2:00 pm.
The job fair is being hosted by National Career Fairs, who will be providing a company list of attending employers on May 11th. Companies representing various business fields including retail, sales, accounting, banking, finance, travel, and real estate will be participating and applicants will have an opportunity to hold interviews with several of the employers during the event.
Print companies are providing print services for resumes, flyer, and banner printing. Businesses participating in the job fair also use printing companies for business cards, announcements, brochures and follow-up stationery printing.
Attendance is free and there is no charge for parking at the Melville Marriott. Individuals wishing to attend the career fair can register online. Upon registration, an applicant will receive a free online fair guide. National Career Fairs is recommending applicants dress professionally, bring several resume copies, and be prepared for interviews throughout the event.
Additional 2012 career fairs, hosted by the same company, are being held at the Melville Marriott on July 19th, September 24th and November 14th utilizing the same format. Attending companies may vary with each event giving job-seekers a broader opportunity to meet numerous businesses with job openings.
