Businesspeople have opportunity to bowl over their networking peers
September 20, 2012 by Mark
The Melville Chamber of Commerce Corporate Challenge will feature a trip to the bowling alley, with networking sessions both before and after the bowling games.
Bowling will be no tap, speed bowling. Appetizers will be served and there will be a cash bar. This will be an excellent networking opportunity for local business folk. It will lend itself to a competitive but fun atmosphere. While there will be no hard sell at the event, there will be time to exchange business cards and talk a little about business.
Sponsorships are also available. For $150 sponsors are allowed to add items to the gift bag. Platinum sponsors pay $2,500 and are given an exhibit table, have a banner displayed at the event, are mentioned in all advertising, and have their business name and logo displayed on large screen TVs at the event. No doubt the organizers will be turning to Melville printing companies to provide the display banner printing services to help recognize those sponsors. Banners are relatively inexpensive and can come in any shape or size.
The bowling bonanza will take place at 300 Long Island on October 11 from 5:30 pm – 9:30 pm. Tickets are $35 for chamber members and $50 for non-members. For those just wishing to network and watch bowling ,the tickets are free for chamber members and $35 for non-members. All attendees will receive a gift bag containing samples, coupons, and gift certificates. For more information, call 631-777-6260.
