Businesses can sign up for community festival

With ribbon cuttings and arrangements for the Massapequa Community Festival already underway, it’s clear that the Massapequa Park Chamber of Commerce is doing a great job of supporting local businesses and giving them opportunities to get to know each other.

In March alone, the chamber’s website shows that there have been three ribbon cuttings planned for the month. With The Rock Underground and Moe’s Southwest Grill having taken place on the 16th and 20th respectively, the only one left is Friends for Life Home Care Services on the 23rd. Taking place at 1:00pm in Massapequa, the timing makes it convenient for local professionals to come together and support the last ribbon cutting of the month.

What Massapequa Park professionals really need to keep an eye on, however, are the Community Festival applications that have been making the rounds. Although the Festival itself doesn’t begin until May 26th, local business owners are being given an early opportunity to sign up.

Expected to go from May 26th to the 27th, businesses will have five hours on both days to display their goods and come in contact with both other professionals and qualified buyers. As such, it may be worthwhile for the company to consider making basic flyer printing, poster printing, and even stationery printing a part of their displays.

Priced at $100 for members of the Massapequa Park Chamber of Commerce, and $125 for those who aren’t, it should also be pointed out that the Festival is open to everyone.
