Manhasset new tile store opens

A new venture into the world of tiles has opened in Manhasset, with the Country Ceramic Tile & Kitchen store being acquired by local business people.
The store, which was once also known as House of Quarry, is well known by many locals and from people across the area. For over four decades, in all of its guises, it has been helping people decorate at home.
In its new guise, the Northern Boulevard store hopes to carry on the legacy set all these years. Now owned by Fiorano Tile Showrooms, based in Elmont, the new boss hopes the Miracle Mile location will come good for them.
Talking about the new operation, opening with a lot of poster printing to get the word out there, John Tudisco, who manages and runs the company with his two brothers Jerry and Joe, said:
“We have a big customer base on the North Shore, and with the Manhasset location, it’s now even more convenient for them to see us.”
Tudisco explained that the new name for the store, Country Tile by Fiorano, is a combination of his own firm’s name and the familiar use of Country. He hopes it will show that traditions and design can live happily together.
“We’re keeping the name because it is well-known, but we’re adding Fiorano because there is a trust factor and we’ve been in business for so long.”
Tudisco went on to compare the opening to BMW and Mercedes getting together.
