Elite Professionals Has December 20th Meeting Scheduled

December 20th, 2011, at 7:30 a.m., Elite Professionals will be hosting its Weekly Morning Meetup.
Taking place at Concord Diner in Valley Stream, this event is a fairly short drive for Manhasset professionals. While the regular meetings are par for the course in many networking groups, Elite Professionals puts an interesting twist on the overall process.
For starters, membership is based on activity within the group as opposed to the payment of fees. While you will be paying for the cost of your meal, Elite Professionals won’t charge anything extra. Where this gets interesting is with respect to the structure of the group. Taken from the site meetings typically run in the following format:
“People do business with people they know and like and with professions they understand. Unlike the once-a-month business card exchanges, our group meets every week so our members get to know one another. Each week every member gives a 60 second “infomercial” and one member per week gives a more in-depth 10 minute presentation.”
While members are expected to attend these meetings a minimum of twice a month, the deciding factor is actually whether or not a business owner’s profession is already represented within the group. The greater goal of Elite Professionals is mutual support and referrals. Consequently, the advantages of being a part of this group are readily apparent.
Bring some business cards, enjoy a great meal, and get to know other professionals in the area. It’s a win-win situation for all who attend.
