Crafted gifts on hand this weekend

For those who want to get a head start on their holiday shopping and view some unique grifts, Preferred Promotions will be hosting the Artisan Fine Craft Harvest Festival in just a few days’ time.

The event will have more than 100 vendors selling a variety of fine art pieces and crafts. Shoppers can expect to find handcrafted jewelry, stained glass, pottery, and fiber. There will also be carved wood pieces, table linens, clothing, and hand-painted Christmas ornaments among the potential gift opportunities.

Preferred Promotions was founded in 1996 by Rachel and Don Frislid. They were craftspeople who decided to attend fairs all over the United States. Enamored with the experience and the community, they created their very own craft fairs in Long Island.

Organizers and advertisers for Preferred Promotions may turn to printing companies to help them get word out about the event. Having people hand out flyers is one good way to attract customers, as is hanging posters in areas where potential shoppers might see them. Companies that have mailing lists might also send postcards to people who attended other events they held, as these people are more likely to show up.

The festival takes place this weekend and runs from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm on both Saturday and Sunday. There is an admission fee of $5 for all shoppers over the age of 12. It is being held at St. Paul‘s Field House in Garden City, New York, which is only a short drive away from Manhasset.
