Street fair to arrive in Pelham
June 21, 2012 by James
This Sunday, June 24th, the Village of Pelham will be holding its annual street fair.
The fair is to take place on 5th Avenue, between First Street and Lincoln Avenue, between 11:00 am and 5:00 pm and is free of admission charge and open to the public. That area of street will also be closed down to vehicular traffic, which must to brought to the attention of local residents. Printing businesses will be hard at work creating flyers, both to promote the event and to remind those who need to get around that 5th Avenue will be shut down on that day.
Over 120 craftspeople, artists, vendors, and merchants will be on hand to sell their wares. There will be live music, inflatables, clowns, jugglers, and games to keep guests entertained all day long. Printers are bound to be called upon to create banners for the different booths and vendors so that they can distinguish themselves to passers-by. Some may also want informational or promotional brochures printed so that they can try to attract repeat business for their stores or appearances at other events.
The event is presented by Fresh 102.7 FM Radio, who will be on hand to give out prizes to attendees throughout the day. Patch.com is the online media supporter for the event.
Printing companies will no doubt be creating flyers to promote the event in nearby areas of Long Island such as Larchmont, Mamaroneck, Eastchester, and New Rochelle in the hopes of drawing in crowds to this yearly event.
