New Rochelle ArtsFest swoops into the area

This coming weekend, ArtsFest returns to the New Rochelle and Pelham area. Accessible by public transportation from New York City and only a short drive away from upstate areas like Yonkers, Bronxville, and Mamaroneck, the festival has the potential to draw in a lot of New Yorkers and printing companies are likely to be working to create flyers and other promotional materials to make sure that happens.

ArtsFest takes place at a variety of venues throughout New Rochelle and Pelham. The Pelham Arts Center is one such venue, hosting David Patterson and the Latin Jazz Express on Saturday, September 22, and a Maps As Art Workshop followed by a harp performance on Sunday.

Just Funki, a handcrafted jewelry store, will be hosting fashion exhibitions over the weekend, while BID Downtown Open Art Studios will feature works by Maryana Oliynyk, David Humphrey, and others. The Picture House will be holding screenings of various films, and an exhibition on the Art of the American Automobile outside of City Hall will be hosted by AJ’s Burgers and New Rochelle Chevrolet.

These are only a few of the events that will be going on throughout the weekend. It is possible that some of these venues will hire printing companies to create informational brochures or other promotional items to try and generate returning customers from the festival.

Free trolleys will run from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Saturday and 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sunday, providing transportation between the different venues and events. It should be noted that some events will begin as early as 10:00 am, before the trolleys start operating.
