Santa to stop by in Liverpool

December 13, 2012 by

This Saturday, December 15, Tim Hortons will be welcoming a very special guest in Liverpool, New York. None other than Santa Claus himself will be taking time out of his very busy pre-Christmas schedule to meet with children and hear what they want for Christmas.

The event will begin at 9:00 am at Tim Hortons / Cold Stone Creamery. There will be free hot chocolate for kids as well as bakery samples. At 11:30 am, the festivities will move to Cam’s Pizzeria for lunch. There will be 99 cent pizza on sale there, as well as a coloring contest. However, at 2:00 pm, Santa will have to return to taking care of his busy schedule, so the event will be closing down then.

It is likely that the organizers for this event will look to print companies to generate some promotional materials for them. Flyers handed out in Liverpool and other nearby areas could get children interested in going to the event. Banner printers may also be called upon so that anyone who happens to be driving by the area will be able to see that Santa is making an appearance.

Tim Hortons is a company known for its philanthropic efforts and community outreach. Providing children with a free opportunity to meet Santa is just a small example of the ways in which it seeks to be involved in its local areas. It also created the Tim Hortons Children Foundation, which is designed to teach children self-confidence and leadership skills. Print companies may be called on to create informational brochures for this and other Tim Hortons programs so that they can be handed out to parents who stop by the store as well.
