Liverpool professionals have plenty to look forward to this January with the chamber’s Monthly Luncheon and the Micro Enterprise Program taking place in the upcoming days.
It all starts with the Monthly Luncheon taking place January 17th at Maplewood Inn. Featuring both networking and a meal, this event is going to be centered around WCNY’s new building. The site sums it up this way:
“WCNY will start construction in the next few weeks on a $20 million project to transform an empty warehouse on the edge of downtown Syracuse into its new home that will include a learning center, a concert auditorium, a cafe and other amenities. WCNY President and CEO Bob Daino and VP of Corporate Advancement, Rosie Taravella will present what this new facility will mean to our region.”
Starting at 11:30 am and continuing on until 1:00 pm, those who register and pre-pay will be charged $14.00 while $15.00 is the cost for those who are paying at the door. Walk-ins are allowed to be at the luncheon as well, but entrance will be $18.00 in total. The promise of networking alone makes quality business card printing all the more important.
Following closely on the heels of the luncheon is the “Micro Enterprise Program: Small Business Training Course” being held January 28th at Rich Hall. Designed to run people through the fundamentals of becoming a business owner, coming at a cost of $200.00 and running until February, this informative seminar is one that future businesspeople would do well to attend.
