Antiques to offer charm this fall

Those who are interested in antiques are in for a real treat on the weekend this October. The Salt City Autumn Antiques Show will be held at the New York State Fairgrounds outside of Syracuse, New York, which is not far from Liverpool.

The event features over 250 antiques dealers who will be on hand to sell their wares. Shoppers will have access to porter service to help move any bulky items back to their cars. For those who are traveling from afar, worldwide shipping is available for purchased goods.

In addition to the vendors, West Lake Conservators will be making an appearance at the event. Located in the Finger Lakes region of central New York State, the company is known across America for its restoration work and preservation of historic pieces of art. Its experts work on a variety of different media, such as paintings, textiles, and frames. At the antiques show, West Lake Conservators will be providing educational displays on some ways to preserve old pieces of art. They will also provide free consultations to shoppers about how to preserve antiques that they have purchased or already own. Though appointments are not necessary, attendees can schedule them via email prior to the event.

The show runs from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday, October 20 and the Sunday after. There is a $7 admission fee for anyone over the age of 12 or an $8 charge that will provide entry for the whole weekend. With so much to be seen, printing companies will probably be hard at work creating promotional material.
