Kids’ fair kicks off this month

Parents or caretakers who live in the Lindenhurst area might want to take the time to visit the 4th Annual All Kids Fair for some classes and resources involving taking care of and entertaining children.

There will be 90 vendors on hand showcasing products and services that include fun things like birthday party entertainment and finding venues for recreation, educational matters like tutoring or college savings, and health-related offerings like products for special needs children or general health and wellness services.

There will also be 24 classes held throughout the day that provide insight and information into topics like sports, music, and childhood obesity. Kids present can enjoy the interactive nature of some of these classes or exhibitors, and they will have the opportunity to meet a Big Apple Circus juggler, as well as the L.I. Ducks’ mascot Quackerjack.

Promoters may turn to print companies to create printed advertising material for them. This might include items like posters or flyers that can be distributed in high-traffic or populated areas, like malls or kids’ stores, to get the word out.

There is a $5 general admission fee, but children aged two or younger are free, as are grandparents who attend with a paid-for parent or child. Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations for the Interfaith Nutrition Network to help with its mission of feeding those who are less fortunate.

The All Kids Fair will be held at the Melville Marriott on Sunday, April 27, from 10:00 am until 4:30 pm.
