Reptiles on the rampage in Long Island
March 13, 2013 by James
The Long Island Reptile Expo will be making its return this weekend, so those who love the slimy, scaly, and slithering will be in for a treat.
The event features over 115 vendors who will be selling their animals at prices 50% or lower than standard retail. Cages and other reptile paraphernalia will be on sale as well.
The event will be held at the huntington Hilton Hotel located in Melville, New York. Residents of areas like Dix Hills, Syosset, and Levittown will find that the location is only a short drive away. Organizers may need to turn to printing companies to create flyers and other promotional material that can be distributed in these and other nearby areas.
Banner printers are often hired for events like this by vendors who want to stand out from the crowd. Brochure and business card printing companies can also be helpful to vendors for these sorts of events, perhaps providing information about the different reptiles and how to care for them as pets.
There is a $9 general admission fee and a $4 fee for children between the ages of seven and 12. Please note that the admission fee can only be paid in cash, although some vendors at the expo will accept credit cards. Children under the age of seven will be allowed in free, but all children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
The reptiles will be snaking their way in this Sunday, March 17.
