Levittown fair prepares to hit the streets

July 14, 2013 by

Over the weekend of July 20, Nassau County Craft Shows will be hosting the Long Beach Super Street Fair in Levittown, New York. Costumers are welcome to peruse the selection of find handmade crafts that will be on sale from established and up-and-coming vendors and craftsmen. They will get to enjoy a wide selection of goods on sale and display.

The event was found in 2008 with the idea of producing festivals and street fairs that would provide a better experience to the vendors. This has allowed the shows to retain a high volume of promising artisans and vendors who create and sell amazing crafts. These shows consistently draw some of the best craftspeople from all over Long Island.

This year, Nassau County Craft Shows will be helping out their vendors even more by reducing the rental costs of booths. Some percentage of the profits generated by selling booth space will also go toward a children’s charity named Kiwanis. This is the group’s way of showing support for the victims of Hurricane Sandy and helping out Long Islanders as much as possible.

It is likely that promoters will turn to printing companies to create advertising materials like posters, postcards, and flyers. These materials are a very cost-effective way of getting the word out about the event.

The fair will take place on both Saturday and Sunday, July 20 and 21. Booths will open at 10:00 am, and the fair will close at 6:00 pm. Admission is free.
