Antique Books on offer at Hofstra

Those who enjoy rare books, photographs, and memorabilia might want to check out the Long Island Book and Ephemera Fair. The event will feature vendors selling a wide range of rare books including first editions, foreign copies, and out of print manuscripts. Other vendors will be selling things like old photographs, antique postcards, autographed copies of books, and even rare sports memorabilia.

The event is being put on by Elias Pekale Shows, Ltd. The company has a long tradition of managing similar fairs and has been organizing festivals since 1978. They try to create an environment that is fun for both the vendors and the customers, and they also aim to have vendors who sell affordable wares so that customers feel like they can easily make purchases. Additionally, the company puts a priority on making the experience enjoyable for vendors so that they can create long-term relationships with them and ensure quality salesmen at all of their events.

Promoters for this fair might turn to printing companies to help them with the advertising. The event is being held at Hofstra University, so having flyers and posters around the campus might draw in some more attendance. Distributing printed advertising material in nearby areas, like Levittown, would attract more customers too.

The Long Island Book and Ephemera Fair is being held at the Hofstra University Student Center on March 29 and 30. There is a $6 admission fee for adults and a $3 admission fee for people between 12 and 21. Children under 12 can attend free.
