Bowling for love in New Hyde Park

February 19, 2014 by

For single men or women who love to head down to the bowling alley, The Singles Association of Long Island may have come up with the perfect event.

This weekend, singles who live in the New Hyde Park area will have the opportunity to go to a bowling outing with other like-minded people. The event is being coordinated by the Singles Association of Long Island, which is a Meet Up group founded in 2012 by Joseph Musac. The group puts together events that feature bowling, movies, and dinners, along with other activities allowing people to meet and mingle.

The event will be held at Herrill Lanes; a site featuring 36 lanes. It also has a coffee shop at which guests can buy refreshments, and a pro shop where they can buy bowling equipment.

Organizers for this event may want printing companies to create posters, flyers, or postcards to help them advertise for it. Distributing materials like these in nearby towns, such as Mineola or Manhasset, is likely to draw in more attendees.

It takes place on Saturday, February 22, and there is no cost for attending the event other than the standard fees associated with bowling. The event runs from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm, though those who want to stay at Herrill Lanes can stick around for the Rock N’ Roll Bowl; an event the venue hosts every Saturday night at 10:30.
