Healthy living makes a Long Island stop

The 2014 Health and Wellness Expo will be coming to Long Island and giving local residents an opportunity to learn how they might live healthier lives. There will be more than 50 vendors on hand selling products and services related to nutrition, fitness, and relaxation.

Those who arrive at the expo before 10:00 am will have the chance to participate in a Zumba class. Parents who want to introduce their kids to a new activity might also sign them up for the Kids’ Zumba class starting at 11:00 am.

There will be a presentation by Donovan Green about fitness. Green works as Dr. Oz’s personal trainer and can impart his knowledge about fitness and workout techniques to the audience. Eddie G, the celebrity chef, will also be on hand to speak about food and nutrition.

The 2014 Health and Wellness Expo is being produced by CaJun Events, which stands for Cheri and Jennifer Unique Networkers. The two women are entrepreneurs and marketers who seek to host more events that they feel will be beneficial to the community at large.

Promoters for this event may turn to postcard printing companies to help them out. Sending mail outs, like postcards, to people who sign up for a company’s mailing list is a great way to advertise. These cards might go out to people who live in nearby towns or cities like Huntington.

Admission to the Expo is free, and the event runs from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm on Sunday, March 30.
