Dancing evening steps back to the 1950s this weekend

January 18, 2013 by

For anybody who enjoys the music and styles of the 1950s, a perfect opportunity to get out and enjoy the sounds while reliving those old dance numbers with friends is coming up tomorrow.

Poster printing was most likely used to advertise this fun 1950s event, which is being hosted by the FR. Thomas Judge Knights of Columbus and promises to be a great time for one and all.

As part of this evening’s entertainment, guests will enjoy a delicious dinner followed by a dance consisting of music from the 1950s rock era. During the evening there will be raffle tickets and prize baskets drawn, although space is limited, so reservations are currently being accepted.

Guests can relive their memories by dancing to songs that they enjoyed during their teen and early adult years. This event is open to all groups, so it is a great chance to dust off the old poodle skirts, horn-rimmed glasses, and wing tip shoes and enjoy the fun, activities, and quality time spent with friends and family.

Tickets for this dinner and dance cost $35 per person. The 1950s Dance Gala will be happening on tomorrow, January 19, from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm at the Trinity Regional School located at 1025 Fifth Avenue in East Northport, New York, just a short drive down the road from Hewlett. For tickets or additional details, please visit the Fr. Thomas Judge Knights of Columbus website or call 516-318-5809.
