Hauppauge to welcome Charlie Brown in time for Christmas

December 11, 2012 by

A holiday classic, ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’, will be presented by SoLuna Studio in Hauppauge before Christmas this year.

A favorite of young and old, the show features a variety of Peanuts characters, starting with Charlie Brown complaining about the extensive materialism associated with Christmas nowadays. His friend Lucy encourages him to direct the school Christmas pageant. Beginning with a sad little fir Christmas tree, Charlie engages Lunus’ help to show the community what the meaning of Christmas is really about. The story is entertaining and family-friendly.

The SoLuna Studio provides high quality theater for the Long Island region, along with arts programs for both adults and children. The goal of SoLuna is to offer the venue for creative expression, education, and as somewhere to experience the arts of the world.

Key components of ensuring successful attendance for theatrical performances lie in the marketing plan. Printing companies are regularly utilized to provide services such as brochure and flyer printing. Brochures are used for large distribution to promote theatrical events. Brochures present several panels for content and image insertion to promote entertainment performances.

Catalogs are generally included for theatrical shows and usually manually distributed upon entrance to the event. Catalog printing should include the agenda of performance sessions, the performers’ names and professional experience, and general information about the entity producing the show. Catalogs also typically contain sponsorship recognition, as well as paid advertisements.

The performance will take place on December 16, at 11:00 am. For more information, visit the SoLuna Studio website or contact 631-708-9681.
