“Company” an award winning Tony musical performance comes to Hauppauge

Pulsating with the brisk sounds of New York City, the musical score “Company” comes alive through a concept show, declared a Landmark performance. This great musical by Stephen Sondeim will be coming live to the stage at Soluna Studio, 659 Old Willets Path, Hauppauge from Friday, March 23 until Sunday, March 25, 2012.

This performance is centered on the main character’s thirty-fifth birthday as a confirmed bachelor where he holds company with some crazy, but good, people, while he weighs the ups and downs of marriage life. This is a witty and honest look at the various relationships shared between husbands and wives. The couples on the stage do their best to present both sides of the equation when it comes to married life and the various situations that occur, and yet when set to music this performance sparkles to life.

The musical score is both invigorating and uplifting, and the comedy of the script will make your sides ache with laughter. Many of these musical scores are Stephen Sondheim’s most loved pieces.

In the end the character must decide if living alone is living or not. What will he decide?

The local printing companies have been busy preparing tickets for all three nights, and they are now available for sale. The cost of a ticket is $20 – a great deal for a wonderful night out. Performances start Friday and Saturday evenings at 8 pm with Sunday being a matinee performance beginning at 3 p.m.
