The Nutcracker Ballet is being presented by Lumiere Ballet for the 16th season later on today.

This showcase features one the holidays most loved classics, and has no doubt been supported through means like poster printing and flyer printing to appeal to people in this community, as well as the surrounding regions.

The performance features a cast of professional dancers and award-winning students, and is based on the tale ‘The Nutcracker and Mouse King’ written by ETA Hoffman with the music of Peter I. Tchaikovsky. It features the enchanting Sugar Plum Fairy that comes to life right before the audiences’ eyes. Children of all ages will enjoy this timeless production as the snow slowly drifts down as waltzing snowflakes join the snow queen to dance on stage for Clara and her wonderful prince.

The artistic directors of the Lumiere Ballet’s Nutcracker are Venti Petrove and Svetlana Caton, and the audience is sure to make the most of the magical story as they kick-start their Christmas buildup.

Tickets are $30 for adults, or $25 for seniors and young people under the age of 16. The Nutcracker Ballet will be performed on Saturday, December 21 at 7:00 pm and Sunday, December 22nd at 2:00 pm at the Maquire Theatre at Suny College located on Route 107 in Westbury, New York, just a short drive from Forest Hills.
