Fine festival of wait awaits in Forest Hills
August 3, 2013 by Mark
The Wine Festival at the Historic New Bridge Landing will feature a sampling and purchase variety from the Garden State’s vineyards and wineries. This is a celebration of wines from the State of New Jersey by the Bergen County Historical Society. Several of the services of local printing companies may have been used to share information about this event with people in this region.
During this sampling and purchasing event, people will enjoy tasting many of the fine wines created, live entertainment by the River Acoustic Band, Wood Jam featuring Ashley and Kelly Wood, and Particle Theory. There will be tasty foods from Choripan Rodizio and Sanducci’s, as well as historical tours of many of the New Jersey Dutch Sandstone homes located on the Revolutionary War Battlegrounds.
This is a fundraising event to assist with the building of the history museum. Participants receive a New Bridge Landing wine glass, as well as a commemorative journal. Please note that photo ID will be required to enter the gate.
Tickets for this sampling cost $20 in advance and $25 at the gate, while designated driver tickets cost $10. The Wine Festival will be occurring on Saturday, August 24, beginning at 12:00 pm noon at the Historic New Bridge Landing located at 1201 Main Street in River’s Edge, a 30-minute drive from Forest Hills, New York. To preview the event, or to purchase tickets, please visit the Bergen County History website or call 201-343-9492. In the event of rain, the event will take place the following day.
