Health Reform Workshop Being Held April 25th
April 19, 2012 by Mark
With the Small Business Assistance Program taking place at the end of the month, it’s clear that Flushing-based professionals have the option of turning up and getting timely advice and information over the course of the next few weeks. Of course, this is all probably for the best since the subject of this upcoming meet-up is going to be none other than health insurance.
At this stage, pretty much all business owners are aware of their obligations to both themselves and employees where health insurance and adequate health care are concerned. On April 25th, the Queens Chamber of Commerce is going to be tackling this complex issue head-on with the latest installment of the Small Business Assistance Program.
Put together with an emphasis on what’s going on within New York and going under the title “Health Reform: What is it and What Does it Mean for New York?”, this workshop is going to include discussion on ways the current system can improve, the ins and outs of the Affordable Care Act, as well as the direction things are headed in the future.
From the perspective of most business owners, there’s no question that the content is going to be worth attending for. Starting at 10:00 am and continuing until noon, this is going to take up a little bit of time. Free to attend but with limited seating, however, those who plan on catching this information-filled seminar will want to register through the chamber’s website or otherwise see what the flyer printing has to say. This subject matter is too important to miss out on.
