The NYC Doggies and Tiaras Pageant will take place in February to benefit the Inky Blue Sea Animal Rescue Group. The competition attracts competitors from across the region including Farmingdale and Fairport.

The event anticipates 20 dogs competing in various categories including talent, active-wear and glamour. The winner will receive the coveted honor of crowned King or Queen for the Doggies and Tiaras 2014.

There will be celebrity judges along with great prizes, all to support the worthy cause of rescuing dogs, including Roberto Negrin, award winning “Pet Fashion Designer of the Year 2012”. He has become an expert in pet costume design, and has appeared on many television shows as well as participated in planning several pet events.

A portion of proceeds is routinely donated to the Inky Blue Sea Animal Rescue. The entity is a non-profit organization in partnership with Hands for Paws in Florida. The mission is dedicated to assisting abused, homeless and abandoned animals throughout greater New York as well as Puerto Rico. The goal for the organization is to foster humane and responsible behavior toward animals. This is accomplished by providing education, communication and funding for the various rescue programs.

Printing companies are frequently contacted to assist with the production of print materials need to promote events of this type. Poster printing is effective for marketing as the posters can be placed throughout a broad region to communicate the upcoming activity. Posters are most appealing when printed in full color with a gloss finish.
