The Farmingdale State College in New York has posted fall business workshops, seminars and courses. A wide variety of partial day classes featuring business topics are scheduled, which are expected to attract many attendees.

Ranked as one of the best regional colleges in the U.S. News & World Report 2013, Farmingdale State College is the only public Long Island entity encompassing the north region to make the list.

The first class will be held on September 17 from 9:00 am – 11:00 am and will be called ‘Business Basics: How to Successfully Start a Small Business’. It will cover topics like governmental regulations, financing, preparing a business plan, and other start-up information.

‘The Power of Email Marketing’ will then be taking place on September 24 from 9:00 am – 11:00 am and will address the importance of building relationships and using effective email marketing techniques.

Lastly, an in-depth class called ‘How to Write a Business Plan’ is scheduled for September 25 from 9:00 am – noon. The class will cover many points in developing an effective business plan and the importance of having one in the first place.

Often, classes are communicated to the public through catalog printing services, which is a frequent project for print companies, as educational institutes use them to list all offerings for the general public. The catalogs can be printed in full color, limited color, or black and white.
