Farmingdale Professionals can start off 2012 with networking

Although things are going to be quiet due to the holiday season, the Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce has at least two events taking place in the next month.

On December 15th, 2011, the Chamber were recapping the past year and making plans at the ‘Board of Directors Meeting’. Though this was never going to be a networking opportunity per say, it was a date that Chamber members were aware of nonetheless.

The January 2012 General Meeting, however, is where members will need both top grade business card printing and the ability to mingle with other professionals. Although the keynote speaker hasn’t yet been determined, there are plenty of other exciting developments that have been announced.

According to the website:

“Bring your business cards! All members present will be entered into a drawing to win either “Featured Member of the Month” on the Chamber website or a Spotlight in the newsletter.”

With respect to the event itself, those who are interested in going to the January 2012 General Meeting don’t necessarily have to be a part of the Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce to attend. Even so, members are being asked to pay a discounted $20 while non-members will be charged $25 for entrance.

Being hosted at the Farmingdale Knights of Columbus and scheduled to start at noon, local professionals can come for the great food and atmosphere, listen in on an informative discussion, and leave with a few extra names on their contact lists. With the meeting starting at noon on January 5th, 2012, business owners can start off the New Year on a positive note.
