Farmingdale presents a wealth of 2013 spring and summer course options

December 6, 2012 by

The Farmingdale State College has posted its 2013 spring and summer course availability. The spring semester begins in January, with the summer semester beginning in May. Select winter courses and online classes are also scheduled.

The Farmingdale State College registrar’s office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am until 4:45 pm. The office is located on Broadhollow Road on campus in Laffin Hall 225.

Some of the courses being offered include vocational programs, such as automotive engineering, architectural technology, dental hygiene, electrical and mechanical engineering, and medical laboratory technology.

Hybrid classes, both online and through lectures, are scheduled and include business and computer systems, biology, economics, and science technology society.

Printing companies often work with local colleges and schools in creating and producing materials for announcing classes and for new student enrollment. Catalog printing is a frequent request for print companies as colleges must have a catalog to list all of the course offerings and related information. They are usually mailed to local residents and manually distributed through the college and other outlets in the region.

Newly accepted students, as well as continuing students, may register at the registrar’s office on campus or online via the Farmingdale State College website. The OASIS program (online student information system) is available for guidance through the registration process.

Visiting or non-degree students must apply as a non-matriculated student beginning January 2 and will use the form provided online.
