Farmingdale posts its summer and fall courses
March 18, 2013 by Sarah
Farmingdale State College has announced its summer courses and registration is now open.
The college hosts many activities and special events throughout the year. The Winter Lacrosse League is a favorite in Farmingdale, with many fans attending games and local businesses providing sponsorships. To market sports events, flyers can be very effective. They can be distributed in advance to generate interest and increase attendance.
Many workshops and seminars are hosted by the Farmingdale State College. Some of them include math, social media, energy saving, dental hygiene, Red Cross Awareness, and poster art. Several of these workshops are scheduled for just one day, while others may be longer.
Farmingdale State College attracts its fair share of local students, as well as many others from surrounding states due to its high standards and variety of courses offered.
Many schools order catalog printing from local print companies at this time of year, as catalogs contain a schedule of events and courses, people involved, history of the school, the faculty, and sponsor recognition – perhaps including a brief bio on the company.
The summer sessions ‘A’, ‘C’ and ‘E’ will begin May 28 – June 27, 2013. The ‘B’ session begins on July 8 and continues until August 7. The fall registration opens August 26.
Students may register online through the school’s website, or in person by heading to Laffin Hall, 2nd Floor, 2350 Broad Hollow Rd, Farmingdale. The phone number is 631-420-2200. Registration is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm.
