All about the girls this August
July 17, 2013 by James
The 1st Official Girls’ Day Soiree is on its way in a few weeks, presented by Mrs. Jax Shop & Sip. As marketing efforts are underway from various sources, participation is expected from many neighboring New York communities, including Farmingdale, Bellerose and Bohemia. The organizers are inviting ladies to come out and “sip, shop and socialize!”
The event will include dozens of vendors, music, a cash bar, make-up artists, and merchants from the local business community. Local merchant and well-known personality Cinderella, owner of ‘When we were Queens’, will be on hand to demonstrate her popular line of make-up and skin care products. She will also be performing professional eyebrow shaping.
Products on display and for sale at the 1st Official Girls’ Day Soiree will include clothing, accessories, handbags, candles and jewelry amongst many other items offered by vendors.
Vendor registration has been underway in recent weeks to reserve space at the event. Typically a vendor will work with a local print company in preparing for a show or event. Banner printing is a frequent task as vendors use banners in their booths, either on the backdrop or across the front of a table, to depict who and what they represent.
There is no admission charge for the event. For more information, visit the event’s website or contact 347-728-4047. It will take place August 10 from noon until 4:00 pm at the Elmont American Legion Post 133 located at 60 Hill Avenue in Elmont.
