RBA has a well-rounded February schedule

Thanks to the Rochester Business Alliance, fairport professionals have a wide range of networking events and seminars to attend in February.

It all starts fairly quickly with a Business After Hours event taking place on the 16th. From the Rochester Business Alliance’s site, this is an open invitation to:

“Take a break from winter, and join us for networking at OptiGolf, a 15,000-square foot golf and entertainment center, housing 12 of the latest indoor golf simulators as well as a licensed bar and grill.” (sic.)

With members paying just $10 while non-members are being charged $50, this is a great opportunity to meet with other professionals in a fun and no-pressure atmosphere.

Including the Business After Hours meet-up, the Rochester Business Alliance will be holding at least two workshops on both February 16th and 21th.

The first of these presentations has been appropriately entitled “Marketing and Advertising – Planning for Success”. Whether considering the use of services like postcard printing, stationery printing, or even catalog printing, companies can’t benefit from that exposure without an overall strategy.

Taken from the site:

“It’s common knowledge companies that fail to plan are planning to fail. Many small businesses make this mistake by advertising before they have a viable marketing plan in place… This flawed leap before you look logic increases expenses, shrinks revenues and shatters profit margins. Learn how to formulate and execute a personalized marketing plan and how to select the right marketing strategies and tactics that work for your business.” (sic.)

The second workshop is on “Coaching and Counseling Employees”. As most can see, Fairport’s entrepreneurs have options.
