The 4th Annual Fairport Partnership for a Better Community will once again host the Fairport Oktoberfest in this small city in New York. The event features authentic German cuisine provided by Swan’s Market, as well as a host of entertainment, with music by German bands and performers.

Taking place over two days, the Friday festivities will kick off with Paul Kreuger presenting German favorites and the Fairport Fire Department Oktoberfest band. Jumbo Shrimp will also perform.

On the Saturday, the day will start at 11:00 am, lasting until midnight. Entertainment includes German-Language Lutheran Service, Alphom Society, Perinton Concert Band, and the Genesee Valley Alpine Band. A special performance by Big Eyed Fish will take place on Friday at 9:00 pm.

The festival will be held at the Fairport Junction Festival Site at Liftbridge Lane East on October 4-5. The gates will open on October 4 at 3:00 pm and the event will run through 11:00 pm.

Swan’s Market is providing authentic German Cuisine under the big tent, while the lively sounds of music play in the background featuring ‘oom-pah’ music. German wine and beer will be available, with a ceremonial opening of the traditional keg on Friday.

Saturday’s music and dance will highlight the event throughout the evening, complete with Alp horns. Well-known rock and roll performer ‘Download! Ein Prisit!’ will close out the event.

Print companies are typically involved in preparing materials needed to manage large events of this type. Banner printing is a frequent request, as vendors use them in their booths and the event organizers call upon them to direct traffic throughout the venue.
