Fairport Canal Days to drift in this summer
March 18, 2013 by Mark
Fairport Canal Days, the popular two day festival, has been scheduled for late May and early June.
It will take place along Main Street in Fairport, New York. The annual arts and crafts festival has entertained the community for over 25 years. The members of the Fairport Perinton Merchants Associations formed a festival community long ago and, with thousands of volunteer hours committed to the event, it tends to attract over 200,000 attendees today.
Organizing and coordinating events of this size require strong communication to ensure all goes well. Working with print companies presents a great resource in acquiring the marketing materials for the event. Brochure printers can create highly effective publications to be distributed prior to the event to entice people to attend.
Banner printing is another common request for large festivals. The banners can be hung throughout the venue for directional purposes, as well as to highlight specific locations within.
The festival will kick off on Friday night (May 31) with a BBQ and Music from 4:30 pm until 10:00 pm. For the next two days, the festival will open at 10:00 am until 6:00 pm on Saturday and 5:00 pm on Sunday.
There will be vendor displays throughout the festival with an array of food items, hand-made crafts, art work, and unique gifts. Vendors generally have digital business cards at their booths or tables. Printers can make very attractive cards through digital printing, which is rather cost effective, since any quantity may be ordered with no set minimums.
