Westchester Broadway Theatre presents 2012 fall and winter schedule

September 4, 2012 by

The Westchester Broadway Theatre (WBT) is known as the longest running theatre to perform all year round in New York, boasting a history of 37 years of major productions, and has an exciting remainder of 2012 ahead.

No doubt attracting many visitors from Elmsford and surrounding districts, the theatrical production of ‘Can Can’ opened August 30 and is scheduled to run through October 7. Following this production, ‘Fiddler on the Roof’ will open on October 11 running through November 25. Completing the 2012 line-up, ‘Miracle on 34th Street’ will run November 29 – December 31.

The WBT offers the only venue in the area where performers, designers, and directors work in creative collaboration to produce shows exclusively for the venue, using top talent. Special events and concerts are also produced and presented on ‘dark nights’, consisting generally of Mondays and Tuesdays. These special events feature top level talent and production from around the world.

With many established theatres in New York area neighborhoods, plays and artistic productions attract attendees on a regular basis. Frequently, local printing companies are asked to provide print services such as flyer printing to help promote the events. Flyers can be produced in large quantities and can be easily hung in public areas to attract attention, as well as being distributed at the venues.

Catalog printing is also a common project, as catalogs normally list the performers’ names and experience, show times, sponsor ads, and upcoming events. Catalogs are usually distributed to the public at the beginning of each production and are a nice keepsake for visitors.
