East Northport business owners have an active January ahead with events like the General Meeting, the Rotary Club’s Multicultural Gala, and the Taste of Long Island all taking place in the upcoming weeks.
As far as East Northport Chamber of Commerce goes, the first event that’s being shown on the calendar is the General Meeting. The chamber’s website explains these monthly gatherings this way:
“Meetings are generally held on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 7:00 pm… Each general meeting begins with an overview of chamber activities and first time attendees are invited to stand up and introduce themselves. Member businesses have the opportunity to be ‘spotlighted’ where they can present a brief overview of their products or services. At the end of the evening everyone is encouraged to mingle, get to know local business people and of course to network.” (sic.)
Taking place March 7th at 7:00 pm, this is a great opportunity to bring some business card printing and begin interacting with other entrepreneurs.
Also booked for the 7th is the upcoming Multicultural Gala. The Rotary Club will be hosting this event in effort to celebrate the many cultures that make up the community.
In a similar vein, a Taste of Long Island will be celebrating and showcasing local restaurants and food providers March 29th.
With tickets going at reasonable prices for both the Gala and the Taste of Long Island, not to mention the available sponsorship opportunities, local professionals have a lot of events to choose from in March.
