Chamber looks to host BBQ this month

After getting a chance to support a good cause in the Kamp Kiwanis Fund Drive, members of the East Northport Chamber of Commerce will also have a prime opportunity to interact with one another in a low-key setting through this month’s General Meeting.

Put together with the express intention of giving military families a hand, the huntington Kiwanis Club and the Huntington Town Board have combined forces in order to allow the children of service members to attend Kamp Kiwanis at no cost. From now until July 15, donations are being accepted for the cause. With $550 needed for each kid, the goal is to raise roughly $22,000 in total so as to provide for 40 deserving campers. No matter from what angle one looks at it, this is definitely an excellent cause.

By hosting a barbeque at Crab Meadow Beach on July 25, the East Northport Chamber of Commerce will also be giving members of the business community a chance to network with one another while also taking advantage of the fantastic summer weather everyone’s been enjoying. While the setting is certainly going to be a bit different, the schedule is still going to afford all the same networking opportunities. For this reason, those planning to attend this one stand to gain quite a bit from contacting a local print company offering such printing services as business card printing and flyer printing among others.

Starting at 7:00 pm and giving decision-makers a legitimate shot at making new contacts, this chamber meeting is another one to remember.
