Families will enjoy a delicious continental breakfast with fresh fruit, cereal, baked goods, yogurt, and gourmet teas and coffees from 10:00 am – 11:30 am at the Cupcake Corner, 61 New Hyde Park Road, Garden City.
Lunch will begin at 12:30 pm and will feature the above items, as well as finger sandwiches. Admission to either event is $19.95 per person with children under free. There will also be crafts for the kids and pictures with Santa. Tickets must be purchased in advance. For more information or tickets call (516) 328-2253.
Also this weekend, families can decorate their own gingerbread house at The Cupcake Corner at 4:30 pm and 7:00 pm on December 15 and 16. All supplies will be provided including refreshments and a story while the houses dry. Tickets must be purchased in advance and vary depending on supplies chosen for decoration.
It is also time for ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’ at the SoLuna Studio at 3:00 pm this Saturday. Everyone’s favorite characters are brought to life in this play, in which Charlie Brown becomes director of the school pageant. Linus comes to the rescue when things start to fall apart and the true meaning of Christmas is unveiled.
Tickets are $20. The SoLuna Studio is located at 659 Old Willets Path, Hauppauge. For tickets or information, call (631) 708-9681. The holidays are best remembered with photos and when combined into a booklet and copied at a local printing company, they make great holiday gifts.
