New business networking group near Central Islip

December 12, 2011 by

Although the group was originally formed on the 21st of last month, the Cumulus Crowd group will be holding its first networking and open discussion event on December 15th, 2011. The topic of this gathering is officially been called “Introduction to Cloud Computing” and is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m.

The reasoning behind the group is as follows:

“Technology is tough to follow especially when you’re trying to run a business in these economic times. Our group is brought together to be an open platform for business owners to exchange ideas, learn more about the current technologies, share insights, learn from outside experts in various fields about implementing best business practice with technology.”

In a nutshell, this group was initially founded with the idea of encouraging open discussion about cloud technology and how it could help businesses. With this even taking place less than 20 minutes away from Central Islip in Holbrook, working professionals have nothing to lose and everything to gain by attending. Since these business owners are all going to be together and meeting for the first time ever, a fresh supply of business card printing will be needed during the networking phase of the event.

According to organizers there will be refreshments served at the meeting. All an interested individual has to do is RSVP, show up, network, and enjoy some light snacks and intelligent conversation at the same time. As most group members are already saying, Cumulus Crowd is a networking group with a lot of potential. Central Islip professionals can’t go wrong seeing what it’s all about.
