Hauppauge to work up a sweat at wellness expo

March 7, 2014 by

Residents in Hauppauge, and nearby Central Islip, can learn more about being healthy at the free Health and Wellness Expo coming up at the end of the month.

Donovan Green, Dr. Oz’s trainer, will demonstrate some important exercises. In addition, he will talk about how to lead a healthy life. Other highlights of the expo include an hour-long Zumba class for adults and a special one just for children. Participants are encouraged to wear workout attire and be prepared to exercise.

Cajun Events is hosting the expo. The two women who run the organization are interested in aiding others through fundraisers and giving people the opportunity to network. While they have a wide variety of businesses participating in the expo, they are still looking for food and product vendors.

The organizers of the event may have used business card printing to create a memorable card to distribute at the expo. From raised print to metallic finishes, a unique business card can help a business to make an impact.

The expo takes place on March 30 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm at the Upsky Hotel located at 110 Motor Parkway in Hauppauge.
The adult Zumba class will run from 10:00 am – 11:00 am with the kids’ class following at 11:00. Green will speak from noon until 2:00 pm, and celebrity chef Eddie. G will round things off from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Call 855-675-6955 for more information.
