Gluten free fair to take to the streets this month

April 3, 2013 by

The annual Gluten Free Vendor Fair and Expo is scheduled to take place later this month in Hauppauge, located approximately nine miles to the north of Central Islip.

This year’s fair and expo, which will consist of a large variety of products and test food samples, is being sponsored by the Gluten Intolerance Group of Long Island. The group expects this year’s event to be marked as the largest to date. Approximately 50 vendors are expected to turn out at the fair to offer a variety of products and gluten-free foods. Over 2,000 individuals are expected to be in attendance.

Large annual events such as the Gluten Free Vendor Fair and Expo may choose to call upon local printing companies to provide them with certain printing services for the event. Banner printing is typically used to greet guests or announce a particular area at the fair. Brochure printers might also be used by the various vendors taking part in the expo to provide information about their products or gluten sensitivity.

The annual event will have an admission fee of $10 and will take place from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm on April 27 and 28 at the Local 25 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). Located at 370 Vanderbilt Motor Parkway in Hauppauge, those in attendance at the IBEW on the first of the two days will get a $5 discount for the next day’s visit. Free goody bags will also be distributed to attendees.
