Child-friendly movies delight parents and children

Families who enjoy movies have the chance to take part in a theater experience with kids in mind as of this weekend.
‘My First Movies’ is a way for parents and young kids to enjoy film. As opposed to regular theater experiences, the theater remains lit and the shows have an educational focus. This “play date” includes plenty of singing and dancing, and the movie characters encourage kids to play peek-a-boo, count, and chime in with the songs. Furthermore, there is an animal character host to entertain toddlers and babies.
These movies are playing at several locations in New York, including the Island 16 Cinema de Lux in Holtsville and the Broadway Mall Multiplex Cinemas in Hicksville. Residents in nearby Central Islip can take advantage of these fun shows.
To promote the event, the organizers could hire a poster printing company to make colorful posters to hang throughout the movie theaters and surrounding communities. Parents would likely take notice of a movie poster with child-friendly graphics and details about this show and play date all rolled into one.
Starting on February 15, the movies will play each Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.
Tickets for adults are $10.50, while children’s admission is $8.50. For additional details call 1-800-315-4000. Interested parents can see some sample movie experiences at the My First Movies website.
