The Amherst Chamber of Commerce is hosting its first ever annual Emerging Business Leaders Awards Gala on the 22nd of February.
Taken directly from Buffalo Business First’s “Events” section, this one of a kind evening is being promoted with the following quote:
“Are you a young professional looking to make an impact in our community? Are you a business owner or corporate executive eager to highlight the dynamic young professionals in your organization? If so, you don’t want to miss the Amherst Chamber of Commerce’s Emerging Business Leaders Awards Gala! The first of its kind, this gala will showcase the regions dynamic young professionals and the businesses that support them. Featuring plenty of sizzle, including a performance by Battle of the Bands winner More than Me. This is not a dinner – it’s a happening – and you don’t want to miss it!…” (sic.)
As it stands at the moment, the ticket cost of $99 will cover food, entertainment, and drinks for all attendees. Besides nominating individuals, however, the sponsorship opportunities afforded by the Awards Gala are something else.
With names like Verizon and Business First already being recognized and possibly getting a chance to distribute business card printing and other promotional materials, this is an option to keep in mind for next year.
Scheduled to begin at 7:00 pm and expected to end roughly 3 hours later at 10:00 pm, the awards are going to be nothing less than a celebration of what young professionals are able to accomplish within their organizations and their communities.
