Awards to celebrate those who build Brooklyn

June 23, 2013 by

The 2013 Building Brooklyn Awards will take place this July. The awards recognize those who have invested in renovation projects in the city, and who strive to improve the look of the area.

The awards reception is presented by the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce. The evening will include hors d’oeuvres, refreshments, and an awards presentation. Local businesspersons will also be able to have a display table set up to showcase their products and services to their business peers.

Winners are nominated for awards by the general public or their peers, and the winners are then chosen by a panel of building professionals. Last year, there were 50 nominees and 12 winners of the awards. The ceremony last year also paid tribute to two individuals who have contributed to the improvement of Brooklyn.

Sponsorships from $2,500 to $6,500 are available for the event. A display table is $500. Both will offer a great chance to have a firm recognized by the local business community.

This event should be an excellent networking opportunity for those in attendance. No doubt many will be investing in a new business card printing order from their Brooklyn print company; they will want to ensure their contact information is current, and that they have enough cards to exchange.

The 13th annual Building Brooklyn Awards will be held at Liberty Warehouse on July 10 from 6:00pm – 9:30pm. For more information, contact Lori Raphael of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce at 718-875-1000, extension 140.
