Bohemia set for comic capers

A top headliner throughout the country, Bret Ernst, will bring his comedic style to Governor’s Comedy at Maguire’s in Bohemia, New York in time for this weekend.

The stand-up comedian has performed in many venues, as well as appearing on popular TV shows including Comedy Central Love Games: Bad Girls Need Love Too, One Mic Stand, and Comics without Borders.

Ernst starred in Vince Vaughn’s Wild West Comedy Show. The film was a documentary featuring Ernst and Vaughn, along with three comedians performing in various venues across the country. The Late Late Show, Lopez Tonight, and Premium Blend are among the shows on which he has performed.

The New Jersey-born funnyman played collegiate football in New York at C.W. Post. He brings his unique style of comedy to the Governor’s Comedy at Maguire’s venue with ticket prices ranging from $25 – $55.

Governor’s Comedy at Maguire’s has been in operation for over 25 years in the area and serves food and drink featuring comedians on a regular basis. They also host fundraisers throughout the year to benefit local charities. The entity has a second location in Levittown.
