Another eatery arrives in Bohemia

A new culinary opportunity awaits Bohemia residents with the opening of the Sayville Deli & Catering. A quick two miles from the heart of Bohemia, the eatery opened just this month but already appears to be gaining a fan base.

Located in the Sayville shopping center on Main Street in the village of Sayville, owner Richard DeLorenzo could not be more excited. He chose the site for his first business carefully and thinks he hit the jackpot. As he explains:

“The people in this town are so terrific and it’s a perfect location…a great opportunity.”

Featuring a menu of paninis, specialty sandwiches, and a wide-ranging salad bar, DeLorenzo speaks excitedly of some big plans ahead for the diner:

“We’re re-doing everything, new façade work on the front of the store and inside we’re expanding our menu as well.”

Enterprises such as the Sayville Deli are usually welcomed in small communities and this is for reasons that go beyond satisfying the appetites of area residents. Owners of established businesses are often also pleased when a new retail venture comes to town. For example, the local printing company sees a potential customer for flier printing, often used in promotional advertising for a new business. Local food producers that supply to restaurants also recognize the opportunity to boost their profits.

Looking to attract a breakfast crowd, the Sayville Deli & Catering opens Monday through Saturday at 6:00 am and on Sunday at 7:00 am. DeLorenzo is hopeful his choice of location, hours, and food offerings will prove a winning combination with customers from Bohemia, Sayville, and other nearby communities.
