Summerbeat Festival shines a light near Bellerose
July 6, 2013 by Mark
Edible Queens presents the Summerbeat Festival at Sunnyside Gardens Park in Long Island just a short trip from Bellerose. The event gets underway next week.
The festival will feature ‘Meat and Beer’ as part of the overall theme. Many types of meat will be available, including duck, and lamb. Various vendors of local beers will be on hand as well to help wash down the tasty meat samplings. Ice cream beer floats, along with iced coffee will also be available. Participating companies include Rockaway Brewing Company, Ovelia Psistaria and Bar, Arrogant Swine, Big Alice Brewing, Beyond Kombucha, Bridge and Tunnel Brewery, and Native Coffee Roasters.
Edible Queens is a food magazine produced quarterly that includes a website and blog. The purpose is to advise on and celebrate New York’s diverse food culture.
For outdoor festivals, local printing companies will often be contacted to prepare materials needed to promote the event. Poster printing is a frequent order, as posters can reflect the important event information easily and economically. They can also be placed throughout a region to develop interest and boost attendance, and are most effective when printed in full color with a glossy finish.
The Park entrance is located at 49th Street and 39th Avenue. Parking on the street in limited, so it is recommended to arrive early or use public transportation. Tickets are on sale via the Summerbeat Festival online website and are $40.00 each plus a processing fee. The event will take place on July 11 from 5:30 pm – 9:30 pm.
